Rope Access

Buchan Inspection provides rope access services throughout the oil and gas, marine and shipping, petrochemical and construction industries. Buchan Inspection is a member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).

Using rope access techniques instead of traditional scaffolding allows for minimal disruption to on-going work. In certain regions of the world, regulation can mandate the requirement for safer means of access. Rope access is ideal where there are no in-situ cradles or other platforms and is more cost effective than methods such as scaffolding.

Rope access systems keep man-risk hours at a minimum as they are quick to assemble and disassemble and therefore require fewer personnel for less time.

All Buchan Inspection Engineers have attained level 1 rope access qualifications as a minimum.
