About Buchan Inspection
Buchan Inspection has provided independent inspection, testing and advisory services for fixed and loose lifting equipment throughout the oil and gas, marine and shipping industries.
Established in 1985, Buchan Inspection joined Imes group of companies in 2000 and is one of only a few companies in the United Kingdom to gain UKAS Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 for Lifting Equipment.
Buchan Inspection will trade, from 1st May 2010, under Imes Ltd and work alongside sister company Water Weights to deliver a complete asset integrity package to customers seeking to maintain availability and capability of cranes, lifting equipment and structures.
